Almost everyone is experimenting with AI agents now, improving individual outputs, but very few organisations are actually getting higher level benefits. The 2025 DORA research claims that “AI adoption has a negligible effect on organisational performance when platform quality is low, but when platform quality is high, the effect is strong and positive”.
This workshop shows you how to create a high quality platform for your organisation. Instead of a vibe-coding dark factory that nobody understands which burns tokens like crazy, you’ll learn how to set up an efficient, lights-on, predictable and high-quality engineering pipeline, with humans still in control: a software factory.
The workshop is based on Gojko’s research with more than 300 teams, and practical implementations of this specific approach in several companies, including a traditional bank and smaller startups. In one case study, applying this approach led to an 80% reduction in token usage, while speeding up average workflows 5 to 10 times, and keeping the same high level of output quality.
You will learn how to apply a systematic approach so everyone in the organization can use agents effectively, safely and cheaply at scale, and create a reliable system to control and orchestrate agentic work.

This is a mid-level to advanced workshop about process and principles at team and organizational level.
It is not an introduction to AI agents for individuals. Hands-on experience with agentic development helps but is not required.
A mix of lectures, discussions and live demonstrations. The group works through a shared development session together, with live coding on the projector to show the key principles in action.
Gojko Adzic is a strategic software delivery consultant who works with ambitious teams to improve the quality of their software products and processes. He specialises in agile and lean quality improvement, in particular agile testing, specification by example and behaviour driven development.
Gojko’s book Specification by Example was awarded the #2 spot on the top 100 agile books for 2012 and won the Jolt Award for the best book of 2012. In 2011, he was voted by peers as the most influential agile testing professional, and his blog won the UK agile award for the best online publication in 2010.
